In My Mind, Blogs for Bands: Week 1

My name is Jason, and if you know me at all you know I love music. Everything from the music of today to the music of the 1930's, and older. I own a few guitars, which are worn down day after day of playing constantly. I always watch music videos, study artists, as well as find out how they made it to where they are today. My blogs are about two different bands each week. Bands that I never hear anything about anymore. Maybe the bands aren't together anymore, maybe an artist has passed away, but is that any reason to never play their songs on the radio? Or ever hear of them in music conversation? Maybe they just aren't as popular as what they deserve. Whatever the case, over the span of these weeks I encourage you to listen to the songs I post to try and spread the word of these great bands.
Week 1
3 Inches of Blood
3 Inches of Blood is a Canadian speed metal band, that has been active since the year 2000. Heavily influenced by Iron Maiden, 3 Inches of Blood has much of the same sound as the speed metal bands of the 70's, and 80's. They released their 5th album in September 2009, and have been on tour since. Unfortunately they aren't as well known as most believe they deserve. I strongly encourage you to listen, and check out they're other material.
Deadsy
Deadsy is a synth rock band based out of Los Angeles, and have been active since 1995. They've toured many times with bands such as Korn, and Deftones. Which has gained them credit in the music industry. Their last released album was in 2006, and many people still question the future of the band. Only time will tell if they will be back.
