In My Mind, Blogs For Bands: Week 3

White Zombie

White Zombie, the American metal band, started in 1985, and ended in 1998. They were formed in New York, New York. Named after the 1932 film, of the same name. Their lyrics were base heavily on horror films, and they were known as a "fantasy" band. Not by experience, but crazy horror fantasy. They released four albums before all going separate ways. The most notable is lead singer Rob Zombie, who is a well known artist both in music, and film. Thunder Kiss '65 is a classic that most have heard before. Whether it's from Guitar Hero, or the re-release of it on one of Rob Zombie's album. Either way, look at their lesser known material.
The 69 Eyes

Based out of Helsinki, Finland. The 69 Eyes have been active since 1989. They have 9 studio albums, along with 4 live albums, which is very impressive. Their albums are sold world wide, and have went gold on multiple occasions. Their associated acts consist of H.I.M., and Cradle Of Filth. They've made quite a name for themselves as they've continued to release albums nearly every other year. The video above is one of their most well known songs, which you may have heard if you watch Viva La Bam or anything associated with Bam Margera. Unfortunatly I couldn't find a video of one of the least known songs. If you haven't heard of these guys, or have only heard what you have from an MTV show. I suggest taking a second look at this unique, and "sleazy" Finnish band.
